Barbara A. Koons age 74 of Marion passed away Sunday March 14, 2010 at Marion Manor Nursing Home. Born April 13, 1935 in Marion to the late Hargass Lucas and Mary Whaley. Barb was a homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her family
She was a member of Moose Lodge 889, she enjoyed Bingo and was active in Relay for Life. Surviving Barb are two daughters Pam (Doug) Moore of Marion, Terri Koons of Marion, one son Robert Koons of Marion, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Barb was preceded in death by one son Gene Koons and one daughter Susan Reed.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM till 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Marion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
